Foundation Awards 2019 Mini Grants

April 24, 2019The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Foundation awarded four grants totaling $5,000 as part of the 2019 Mini Grant Program. 2019 represents the fourth year of the grant program, which funds projects and programs that support conservation, environmental education, and outdoor recreation at youth camps along Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District lakes.

"Each year thousands of children attend the 13 youth camps around MWCD lakes," said Foundation Development Coordinator Nick Lautzenheiser. "Although these grants are small in the amounts awarded, they make a huge impact on these children. These grants support meaningful projects that augment the great work the youth camps are already doing," added Lautzenheiser.
Proceeds from the Foundation's Annual Meeting support the Mini Grant Program.
