Messerly Recreation Center Fund
The Messerly Recreation Center at Charles Mill Lake Park
To honor her family and give back to the park she has come to love, Ms. Donna Messerly, respected professor at Ashland University, and long-time activities leader at Charles Mill Lake Park, has established the Messerly Recreation Center Fund, a new component fund of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Foundation. Donna's very generous initial donation spurred the future fundraising efforts for the design and construction of an activities building at Charles Mill Lake Park.
The Messerly Recreation Center opened in 2014. Located on a scenic wooded bluff overlooking the beach and lake, the Messerly Recreation Center provides an all-weather facility for programs, activities and events for park guests.
Donations to the Messerly Recreation Center Fund will help support future site developments and building maintenance.
