2017 Mini Grant Program Applications Due April 20

February 10, 2017Applications for the 2017 Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Foundation Mini Grant Program are now available. The Mini Grant Program is available to the thirteen youth camps along Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District lakes and funds programs and projects supporting recreation, natural resource conservation, and outdoor and environmental education. "This will be our second year of the Mini Grant Program," said Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Jim Schoch. "The program helps support the great work the youth camps are doing throughout the Muskingum Watershed."
The annual program budget is $5,000. Last year, the Foundation funded five grants supporting projects at Falcon Camp, Camp Nuhop, Camp Roosevelt-Firebird, Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp, and YMCA Camp Tippecanoe. Funds for the Mini Grant Program are derived from proceeds from the Foundation's Annual Meeting, which is held annually in November.
