New Basketball Hoops Installed at Tappan Lake Park

Two new basketball hoops have been installed at Tappan Lake Park, just in time for the 2014 recreation season. The basketball hoops were funded by a grant from the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Foundation and through matching funds raised by campers at Tappan Lake Park. The new hoops replaced severely deteriorated wooden backboards.
"The basketball court is heavily used by park guests, campers, and an annual basketball camp," said Tappan Lake Park Manager Jeremy Hoffer. "The new hoops will signifcantly enhance the recreational experience of those who visit Tappan Lake Park," adds Hoffer.
