Foundation-funded Tappan Lake Courtesy Dock Project Completed

A grant approved early in 2009, has now resulted in a new courtesy dock for Tappan Lake boaters. The small boat launch ramp near the Tappan Volunteer Fire Department, has for years lacked a courtesy dock, making launching difficult. A public request for a courtesy dock turned into an application for grant funding from the Foundation. The application was approved, and the new courtesy dock was installed before the 2010 boating season. Boaters can now access Tappan Lake safer and easier.
